FAQs

  • Most couples book us for their wedding about 12-18 months in advance. BUT we do receive plenty of last minute requests that we accommodate if our schedule allows! We book most portrait sessions 1-2 months in advance.

  • We offer lots of options when it comes to wedding services. When it comes to photo + video combo packages, our clients typically spend around $8,000 with us. This obviously varies according to which package and add-on services are chosen.

    Photo only clients will spend an average of $3,500 and video only clients will spend an average of $4,500 with us.

  • The retainer amount for a wedding is 30% of the total collection amount. The remaining balance is split into 1-2 payments, with the final payment due a week before the wedding day. For all other portrait and branding sessions, we ask for 50% of the session fee as a retainer to hold the date, and the other half is due the day of your session. 

  • Standard turnaround time for delivery of your photos is 4-16 weeks after the event date — however, depending on the time of year it may be sooner. Most of my wedding packages include “sneak peeks” so you at least get a few to share with family and friends right away!

  • The weather may not always work in our favor. The best way to combat this is to be prepared! Have a back-up location for your ceremony or a tent in case of rain, provide umbrellas for guests and, if nothing else, just roll with the punches! Umbrellas can make for some fun photos, even if it is a little drizzly outside.

    For sessions, we’ll keep an eye on the weather all week long. If we come down to the night before and it’s still looking rough (60% chance of rain or more), we’ll make the call to reschedule to a prettier day.
